Pulp

Pulp

Capitalism is Dead. Uphor Lives.

In a world of survivors and lost wanderers, one city stands as a beacon, and you’ve just found its publishing hub.

Uphor Pulp specializes in genre-diverse short stories about and around our great city, Uphor.

We aim to create a product that cleanses the palette: a small booklet you can hold and feel with the senses.

Each story runs at around 6,000-10,000 words, is professionally edited, and will be published as its own individual booklet with a unique illustrated cover. As for ideas, anything goes, as long as it’s set within the confines of this city.

How it Works

  1. Your Application: No need to be formal. Just send us a message with one (or better three) ideas, your previous writing experience, and a sample of your work.

  2. Collaborative writing phase: From the ground up, Uphor is a collaborative project. The goal is to push you creatively rather than restrict what you can write about.

  3. Professional Editing: Once complete, your story receives a thorough edit. If all parties are satisfied with the final result, we move forward to publication.

  4. Publication Format: Each story is published as its own booklet complete with a unique cover illustration. Like a beautifully curated collector’s item.

*While our heart is in print, select stories may also appear in digital form, ensuring readers worldwide can discover your work.
